Happy Stitch

HappyGrid™
Precision, with
a gentle hand.

Our proprietary scanning-and-printing method. Every canvas scanned before printing, colors placed at actual thread intersections. It’s why our prints look intentional — not approximate.

The Problem

Canvases aren’t
identical.

Every mono canvas has tiny, real-world variations. Threads stretch, meshes shift slightly in weaving, sizing differs across bolts. Most printers ignore these variations — they print to a standard grid and hope for the best. The result: colors that drift off their intended stitches.

The Method

Three steps, every canvas.

Scan

Every canvas passes through a 1200 dpi flatbed scanner that maps the exact position of every warp and weft thread — to within ±0.01mm. Roughly 30,000 data points per 10″ canvas.

Align

Our software aligns your design to those real thread intersections. The canvas's unique geometry becomes the grid, not the other way around.

Print

Pigment drops land within ±0.05mm of every intersection center. The print is part of the canvas, not layered across it.
