What resolution do I need?
Most modern phone photos work great. Studio will let you know if your upload won't print sharply.
Can you remove backgrounds?
Yes — cleaner backgrounds stitch better. Studio gives you tools to crop, recolor, and simplify your image before you order.
How many colors will it use?
18–48 thread colors depending on size and complexity. We select them from the DMC palette.
Will I see what it looks like before I order?
You'll see far more than a preview — you'll build it. Studio renders a stitched-accurate view of your canvas as you work, giving you control over every pixel and every thread intersection. The canvas leaves the printer exactly the way you designed it.
What if I want to change something?
Change anything, any time — colors, crop, palette, mesh, AI style. Studio lets you tune your design down to a single intersection until it feels right. And if you're still not thrilled before you check out, simply close the tab. Nothing prints until you order.
